Caddie ends up in hospital after getting struck by golf ball at 145th Open Championship.
So who said the life of a PGA Caddie is boring eh? Marco Dawson’s caddie takes one to the noggin at the 145th Open Championship. Vijay Singh was teeing off at the 17th and the caddie (William Cimplinski) was on the 8th. If you are familiar with the Links Style Golf you know that fair amount of the holes will overlap to make it easier to walk the course. And with the pros and their length the tee boxes get moved back further than for amateurs. So if there’s a wayward tee shot…the ball doesn’t have to be off by much to headed for the crowds. Thank goodness he is doing alright after the incident.
